Eppert Consulting has developed a number of bespoke tools designed to create and manage quotations for a variety of businesses. Whereas the job of creating quotes is common to most businesses, the individual requirements are very specific to every business. Therefore it makes perfect sense to have a custom made tool to do the job. To illustrate this, here is an example of an application we have developed recently using Excel VBA. The requirement was to create a quotation tool that allows sales managers to create professional looking quotes for door systems and automatic doors. Moreover, the tool should allow to rapidly create quotations for highly customisable door types. After ticking the appropriate boxes, the tool should then create PDF documents to sent by email to the customer. Our client is the Swiss subsidiary of one of the leading door system manufacturers.
